Jordan Kane
Since earning my Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy from Temple University in 2018, I have been working as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) in a variety of behavioral health settings. My experience includes both inpatient and outpatient care, where I have facilitated group therapy focused on supporting individuals in their mental health and substance use recovery journeys. I am passionate about integrating leisure education, team-building activities, journaling, and horticulture-based interventions into my groups to promote self-expression, coping skills, and overall well-being.
I strive to create a supportive and engaging environment where individuals feel empowered to explore personal growth and build meaningful connections. In addition to my clinical work, I remain actively involved in the field of recreational therapy and currently serve as a board member for my local chapter organization.
